Michael
Worsham is a solo attorney licensed in all state and federal courts in
both Maryland and the District of Columbia, the Second Circuit Court of
Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. A
graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, he also has a
B.S. in Chemistry from S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook, and an M.S. in Civil
Engineering. Mr. Worsham uses his background in law, science and
engineering to work hard for his clients to achieve the rights that
have been taken from them. He is dedicated to a achieving justice for
his clients and society as a whole.
Michael
Worsham's main practice areas are in consumer protection, privacy law,
environmental law, zoning, civil rights and general tort litigation. He
is especially active protecting citizens privacy from abusive
telemarketers and junk faxers under the federal Telephone Consumer
Protection Act. He has also been successful helping citizens oppose
cellular towers being sited under the 1996 Telecommunications Act, and
has filed a Petition to the U.S. Supreme Court on cell tower health

Consumer
Protection
Michael
Worsham is actively litigating against telemarketers and junk faxers
under Telephone Consumer Protection Act, including class actions. He
has also helped clients with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and privacy
protection through general tort litigation.
Civil Rights
The
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is an active practice area
getting positive results. A recent ADA suit reached a favorable outcome
by making a Baltimore County store accessible to persons dependent on
wheelchairs, with another store soon to come into compliance.
Environmental Law
Michael
Worsham is active in helping clients and citizens in Maryland fight
back against spam e-mail and spammers. Also, he is representing
citizens opposed to the massive National Harbor project in Prince
George's County, slated to be built in bald eagle habitat. He also
helped a citizens group challenge ballot language in a case involving
growth and development issues in Harford County.
Cellular Towers and Antennas
Michael
Worsham has represented citizens at zoning hearings to stop the siting
of cellular towers and antennas. In July 2000 the Maryland Court of Special Appeals
rendered a favorable decision for a client opposing a cellular tower. He was also one of
several dozen citizens across the U.S. who petitioned the U.S. Supreme
Court in Sept. 2000 to review the FCC's radiation standards and the
constitutionality of the 1996 Telecommunications Act.
